The Mission of Northwest Compass is to enhance our community by providing emergency services, education, and empowerment which foster personal responsibility for those who are vulnerable or in crisis.

NEED HEALTH INSURANCE? Northwest Compass offers free services from our licensed navigators. They assist individuals, families, small businesses, and their employees as they look for health coverage options; whether its through the Marketplace or Illinois Medicaid.
Northwest Compass’ First Annual Strike Out Hunger Cosmic Bowling Fundraiser was a success! Our fundraiser, which had taken place on Sunday, December 14th at Arlington Lanes, raised $2000, which will be used for our Food Connection Program.

Due to everyone's involvement, we have been able to continue to support moderate to low income families in the northwest suburbs.
On behalf of Northwest Compass, and the families we serve, thank you for your participation and generous gifts. You have made a difference in the lives of many individuals, whom will be able to turn a crisis into an opportunity.
The community at Mount Prospect Library came together and donated over 1,200 pounds of food this holiday season to help those less fortunate! The library is passionate about helping others, and we thank them for coming together to support our program!
Northwest Compass, Inc. is beyond grateful to be a recipient of District 214's centennial food drive! Teacher Mark Gunther and students from Hersey High School came to our organization on November 24, 2014 and donated 12,435 pounds of Food to help people in need!
George Winston, a renowned American pianist concentrates mainly on live performances, and most of the time he is touring playing solo piano concerts, solo guitar concerts, solo harmonica concerts, and solo piano dances. Not only is he an amazing performer, he also believes in the power of community! On Thursday, December 18, 2014, George Winston held a concert at The Old Town School of Folk Music Maurer Hall in Chicago, in which Northwest Compass, Inc. was a beneficiary of all CD sales! A total of $2000 was raised for our Food Connection Program!
